The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs An Engineering Supervisor, You Will Have The Opportunity To Tap Into Your Curiosity And Collaborate With Some Of The Most Innovative And Diverse People Around The World. Here, You Will Make An Impact By
Supervising and leading professional manufacturing engineers and/or support level employees within the plant facility supporting safety, process, and product improvements through continuous improvement methods. Leads development and project execution for the site technical team with responsibilities that include:

• Leads site manufacturing engineering team and responsibility for staffing and employee development, improvement project execution, process renewal, technology advancement, and process validations.
• Develops and maintains the technical competency for the Engineering team, provides leadership, coaching and direction to salary resources.
• Executes Value Stream Improvement projects supporting the manufacturing operations team to support overall operational needs. Develops and leads investment and projects to support production improvements (productivity, yield, renewal and technology advancement, cost reduction and capacity).
• Leads Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Safety Start-up Review (PSSR) processes to ensure safe and effective implementation of change.
• Supports and ensures environmental, health, safety, regulatory and intellectual property compliance. Provides direction for effective and consistent use of design standards and guidelines. Complies with professional and quality standards, corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values, practices and ethical standards.

Your Skills And ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline AND seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering supervisor role

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Proven experience of supervising a manufacturing, technical, or engineering organization to achieve operational objectives in EHS, Quality, Service and Cost
• Experience leading salary or hourly employees, and development and training of employees
• Project leadership experience
• Process experience across several technologies: filtration membrane casting, pleating, web handling and converting, filtration cartridge assembly and welding (ultrasonic, spin, IR), automation, robotics, and vision systems
• Ability to work well with cross-functional peer team, provide leadership for a diverse organization, and influence skills to support positive change acceptance within the work team.
