This Contract role as a Hybrid Test Automation Engineer in New York, New York will have demonstrable experience of working in an Agile team as a QA/SET, collaborating with developers on test case definition, execution and automation, and more (see below). This is a Hybrid role, in the office 2 days a week.

Requirements:

&#;

• Demonstrable experience of working in an Agile team as a QA/SET, collaborating with developers on test case definition, execution and automation.
• Proficient in Oracle Database SQL/Postgres, ideally Cloud variants such as CloudSQL.
• Experience testing containerized applications in Kubernetes/GKE, ideally in Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience testing J2EE, Tomcat or other Java Application Server based applications
• Solid working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Experience using continuous integration/deployment tools such as XLR, Bitbucket/Stash, Argo Workflows, Jenkins
• Experience using collaboration tools JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge of trading, capital markets very useful
• Knowledge of Asset Management, banking, settlement domain would be helpful but not required
• Strong ability to learn new technologies and applications quickly.
• Ability to work independently.
