Compensation:
We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $76,377.00 and may commensurate with experience.
SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a full-time Clinician for our Behavioral Health Services department at our Conway location, adjacent to the Benning Road Metro (blue line) in NE Washington, DC.
Position Description: The Clinician will utilize evidence based trauma informed best practice to provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and clinical interventions to clients referred from within SOME and the community. Promotes integration within client's SOME and community teams. Provides clinical warm handover supports to case managers and prescribers affiliated with SOME's FQHCs
Covid-19 Considerations: In alignment with DC Health, COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are mandated for personnel working in SOMEs healthcare-designated programs, which currently include Medical, Dental, Population Health, Behavioral Health Services (BHS), Exodus House, Jordan House, Kirwan House, Keuhner Place, Leland Place, and Mary Claire House. Requests for a medical or religious exemption will be considered for reasonable accommodation.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
Required: Master's Degree; 1 years experience providing mental health interventions, working with underserved populations and/or familiar with trauma informed care
Preferred: Master's Degree in Social Work; LICSW/LPC issued by the District of Columbia Department of Health; 3 years experience providing diagnostic assessments, trauma informed therapy, and clinical care coordination.
Required License/Certification: LGSW/LGPC issued by the District of Columbia Department of Health; CPR/First Aid certified

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods.
