Job Goal:We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Videography Intern to contribute to the planning and execution of videography projects for Summer Explore, a four-week summer support program for rising kindergarten students aimed at enhancing school readiness. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our team to produce compelling video content, assist in the creation of engaging material, and contribute to the overall success of the summer program. This part-time internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of videography.

• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program related to film, media, communication or a related field.
• Must be available to work flexible hours.
• Experience creating, editing, and publishing videos
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the planning and execution of videography projects for rising kindergarten students.
• Work closely with the team to conceptualize and produce engaging video content.
• Contribute to the development of video materials, including scripting and storyboarding.
• Participate in the filming and editing of video content for educational purposes.
• Deliver 5 short videos demonstrating the teaching of core curriculum concepts.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the videography program.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Collaborate on administrative tasks related to videography projects.

Terms of Employment:

• Part-Time- Paid Internship
• Location: Michael E. Capuano Early Childhood Center
• $35 per hour, up to 50 hours over four weeks
• Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: June 27-28, 2024

Monday thru Friday 

Start Date:  July 8, 2024 

End Date: August 2, 2024

Reports to: Director of Early Childhood Education and Director of Summer Explore Kindergarten Transition Program
