About the Position
We seek an individual with a collaborative spirit who can seamlessly work together with other top-talented architects, engineers, designers, and drafters to advance our projects. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a creative and collaborative environment.
Your role will involve
- Providing design support, for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Assisting team with product research and material selections.
- Creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM), utilizing Revit® software.
- Have a basic understanding of building codes and standards.
- Completing tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent manner with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Communicating effectively within a collaborative team setting.
- Self-checking work for accuracy, omissions, legibility and proactively ask questions and express a genuine interest in project design.
- Possess high level of task ownership and critical thinking ability.
- Coordinating/collaborating with project consultants including engineers (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/fire protection), landscape architects, etc
Qualifications
- Experience
- 1-3 years related experience
- Technical Knowledge
- Experience with Revit, BIM software, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Education & Licenses
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology from an accredited technical college
- Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Creative approach to developing solutions for building system challenges
- Ability to remain flexible and open to changes in project scope
- Exceptional time management
- Actively seeks to collaborate with diverse team members
