The Diesel Technician, reporting to the Store and Service Managers, assumes responsibility for performing both basic and advanced automotive maintenance and repair tasks. This includes thorough vehicle inspections, effective troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Applying extensive automotive repair expertise
• Delivering top-tier service to our valued customers
• Conducting skilled mechanical work, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs
• Inspecting, replacing, or repairing faulty components, while conducting preventative maintenance
• Keeping abreast of evolving automotive technologies through continuous learning
• Demonstrating behaviors aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions
• Adhering rigorously to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Maintaining a tidy, secure, and well-organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in automotive service, mechanics, or engine diagnostics
• ASE Certification is preferred, though not mandatory
• Owns essential Technician Tools
• Possesses a valid driver’s license and capable of vehicle operation
• Able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Exhibits outstanding customer service skills with a dedication to nurturing long-term customer trust and relationships
• Willingness to work Saturdays
