Our client, a large domestic full service law firm is seeking to add an Employment and Labor Associate to it's outstanding group in New York. Qualified applicants should have 3-5 years of experience counseling employers on various employment-related issues, including leave entitlement, wage and hour issues, hiring, terminations, discipline, handbook policies and procedures, employment agreements, and other matters affecting the employment relationship.
Additionally, prospective hires will be required to have a background in defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and their state law equivalents.
Requirements:
· Proven Employment law track record of advising prominent clients
· Qualified to practice law in New York
· 3 years of Employment law experience
