Summary:

The Property Internet Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest network experience at our hotels. This position will report to the Senior Network & Telecom Manger as part of the IT Infrastructure department. This position will work with various property network service providers to ensure that there is a consistent experience, complying with corporate standards. The Property Internet Services Manager will act as a liaison with property network service providers to track performance, escalate service and support issues, and develop a scorecard compliance program. This role will also work directly with the Sonesta PMO to support ongoing projects as a subject matter expert. Working together with the Senior Network & Telecom Manager, this position will evaluate emerging hospitality internet trends and maintain guest internet standards documentation for managed and franchised hotels.

Primary Responsibilities

• Main escalation point for guest internet services. 
• Design, support, and manage guest internet service scope required by PMO Projects. 
• Subject matter expert for wireless technologies. 
• Manage and audit property network service provider compliance with brand standards. 
• Serve as an escalation point for Managed Service Providers
• Work outside of normal business hours when required (scheduled maintenance, escalated problem management, project-based implementations)
• Other duties as assigned 

Principal Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within the hospitality IT industry.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a role supporting, deploying and/or managing guest internet systems.
• Strong documentation skills; this role will involve handling of network documentation, technical standards and reporting metrics/analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Collaboration with both external and internal partners is essential to the success of this role.
• Able to work with multiple, competing priorities and triage according to business priorities.
• An understanding of wireless technologies commonly used in hospitality environments. This includes Wifi 5,6,7, Zigbee and BLE networks.
• Intermediate networking skills with an understanding of network segmentation and security.
• An understanding of IOT infrastructure and management.
• A foundational understanding of low voltage cable plant distribution.

Desired Certifications:

• Aruba Product Specialist Central (APSC)
• Ruckus Certified Wifi Associate

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year College or university or equivalent
• Occasional travel may be required (15%)
• 1 Years of experience with ARUBA is required

Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range

Pay Range: $110k - $140k

Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
