Soni is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Brooklyn, NY
Specialty Fashion House has a need for an Accounting Manager with at least two years of related experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting in managing the day to day accounting function for the company. Responsibilities will include the oversight of the AP function while managing 2 AP specialists, monitoring and overseeing the inventory function including inventory reconciliations and audits, as well as handling the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process including the preparation of financial statement's.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree - Accounting/ Finance or Related
- Hands-on Accounting foundation with supervisory experience - will have 2 direct reports
- Understanding of Inventory and Inventory Accounting
- System Savvy - Microsoft Dynamics or something similar (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Retail industry experience
- CPA/Public Accounting
Compensation: $115,000-$125,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
