The Sonnenalp is looking for an On-call Kids Club Attendant. This positon will stay open until July 8th. Wage: $17.00 /hour, plus tips Hours: Must be able to work at least 2 days a week Wednesday - Sunday 4:30pm - 8:30pm Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. The Kids Club Attendant plays a crucial role in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents enjoy the amenities of the Sonnenalp Hotel. This position requires a friendly demeanor, a love for working with children, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
Childcare and Supervision: Supervise children (ages [specify age range]) in the Kids Club facility, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Activity Planning and Execution: Plan and organize age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that are fun, educational, and promote physical activity and creativity.
Engagement and Interaction: Interact with children in a positive and enthusiastic manner, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's activities, behaviors, and any concerns that may arise.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including emergency protocols, to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.
Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the Kids Club area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to parents and children, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a childcare, camp, or recreational setting is preferred.
Must be 18 years or older
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
