Sonnet Technologies – Product Manager

Many of our products are based on Intel’s Thunderbolt technology, a modern high-speed computer interface found in virtually every Mac and Windows computer. Overview – Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated Product Manager who can help us understand consumer needs, global competitive market, as well as channel and industry trends for certain product verticals. You should have previous experience in product management of consumer electronics and feel comfortable overcoming challenges. You will give us a sustainable competitive advantage that develops and elevates the Sonnet brand. Ultimately your goal will be to have Sonnet recognized as best in class, for both quality and value, by consumers, resellers, and pro users in the industry.

Job Details
Your job will entail the following responsibilities:

  • Identify key opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect, analyze and report on market data including competitive landscape, global market needs, and industry trends.
  • Guide market research and analyze results, provide insight to Engineering team for new product ideas and direction.
  • Build and manage short-, mid- and long-term roadmaps for multiple product categories.
  • Understand the channels in which Sonnet sells it’s products and top accounts.
  • Assist in the product launch process.
  • Manage launch schedules and deadlines. Ensure alignment across channels by working closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering).
  • Manage kick-off meetings with Marketing and Sales teams, detailing product value proposition, key product use cases, features and requirements.
  • Provide Marketing and Sales departments with sufficient information to develop packaging, documentation, training, etc.
  • Create forecasts, monitor sales, and outline best course of action for product lines.

Required Skills

  • 3 Years in Product Management.
  • You have experience with marketing and/or development of consumer electronics.
  • You have a technical mind and a good understanding of computers.
  • You can communicate well and you document your findings in a structured and clear manner.
  • You enjoy teamwork and you feel comfortable working with internal and external members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $97,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
