The Sr. Staff Accountant performs various technical accounting functions and analytical reviews of for a designated accounting area. This position also helps the business unit achieve goals, anticipate needs and resolve problems.

Support Month end and year end closing
Maintains financial records for company by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects
Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries
Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts
Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions. GL Account Analysis vs. Aging
Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential
Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local
financial legal requirements
Provides guidance and assistance to Accounting Clerks and entry level Accountants
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
Document workflow and work procedures
Responsible for the One Wash Program Sales, Rebate Accruals, and audits.
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree required, with a concentration in Business, Accounting or Finance; CPA / CMA a plus.
5 yrs. of accounting experience.
Experience with an ERP manufacturing system required
Advanced skills in MS Excel Required.
Manufacturing experience a plus!
