Sony Electronics has a fantastic opportunity for an Audio Marketing Senior Specialist to support Sony's brand marketing team. This position is based out of our San Diego headquarters location and is responsible for supporting consumer-facing brand marketing, sponsorships, experiential activations and content strategy. This position Will support management of activations focused on music vertical for the Sony Electronics brand. This person also acts as a key interface between the Brand team, Business Unit Marketing department, Business unit, Corporate Communications, Events team, Engineering team and Legal.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Experiential and community event support

• Support consumer facing experiential activations including influencer events, company activations, etc with project management, strategy and execution support
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to innovate, design and deliver impactful events/brand experiences that meet our objectives across various stakeholders
• Work closely with community marketing team to build community with influencers and content creators on line through meaningful campaign and seasonal activities.

Marketing Communications

• Support creation of engaging, relevant content across marketing touchpoints to tell stories that support products and connect them to the Sony brand through earned and owned media.
• Bring fresh, innovative ideas to help build the Sony Electronics brand and drive engagement across North America
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Sony as a key player by crafting and articulating the voice, personality, and ethos of the brand in relation to key products in the US
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement opportunities for brand growth and innovation
• Work closely with community marketing team to build community with influencers and content creators on line
• Support digital media, paid social campaigns and CRM marketing.
• Ensure all activity is tracked and reported in accordance with business standard monthly cadence.

BA/BS Degree or equivalent required

• Must have 2-4 years of related marketing experience
• Strong written/verbal communications and presentation skills required
• Has ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
• Is innovative, a self-starter and a problem solver

Travel requirements: Role may travel up to 25%
