We are looking for an EHS Specialist position located in Montgomery Alabama for HD-HPT a Homeland security essential industry. The EHS Supervisor oversees 3 team members - 2 EHS specialist and one EHS 2nd shift supervisor. workers compensation experience a plus. Industrial safety degree or 5 years or more experience as an EHS manager required for consideration. Must have policy development and training skills along with budgeting and scheduling ability. team member skills of strong communication and problem solving in an interpersonal and cooperative manner is essential.

Responsibilities:

• (EHS management for 2 shift operation and some Saturday work may be required.) Reports to HR/EHS Director and President on occasion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or Related Field.
• Must have OSHA (OSHA 10 or more) or EHS related license.
• 5 years EHS management experience in EHS for a manufacturing environment.
• Leading by example and professionalism at all times is a basic requirement of the position.
• On time daily attendance with the PTO policy limits is essential as this is a leadership role

Experience:

• EHS management in EHS for a manufacturing environment: 3 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
