Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, Senior Consultant or Consultant with experience in the oil and gas or mining industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project execution, construction management, and strategic consulting. This position will be deployed in the field to oversee field execution, identify opportunities to improve the execution process, and provide coaching to field personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support on project execution, construction management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on oil and gas industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic objectives, identify key challenges, and develop tailored solutions that drive business growth and transformation.
  • Conduct comprehensive research, analyze data, and synthesize complex information to develop actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and other project artifacts.
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in specific industries or functional areas, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior executives and subject matter experts, to drive alignment, secure buy-in, and implement recommended solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges and opportunities.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, participating in client meetings, and supporting proposal development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Significant experience in management consulting, strategy, or oil and gas, with a track record of delivering successful client engagements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project execution, construction management, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Team-oriented approach, with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
