INTERIM DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING DIRECTOR
LOCATION: GRANBY, CO
Middle Park Health, a CAH located in the heart of the Rockies 1 1/2 hours west of Denver seeks Interim Diagnostic Imaging Director for Granby CO campus with responsibilities in the Kremmling and Winter Park imaging services.
Position Supervises: Staff Diagnostic Imaging Technologists,(Mammographer, Ultrasound Tech, CT Tech, Rad Tech, Darkroom Tech,)
The Diagnostic Imaging Director is responsible for quality patient care, appropriate staffing, staff development and the overall operation of the Diagnostic Imaging Department and its related activities. Participates in the on-call duty. The Director is a working technologist member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team. Demonstrates and provides leadership competencies for the department.
•Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
•Registered or Registry eligible American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
•Functions as resource person encouraging staff technologists to solve problems. Manages schedules.
•Determines standards of performance for technologists and participates in development of unity objectives consistent with the hospital goals.
•Responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment to insure proper function. Insures adequate inventories of require supplies.
•Shares responsibilities with technologists for duties as defined in their job description.
•Coordinates services with Radiologists, ensuring timely and effective reads.
•Maintains knowledge of appropriate equipment, and ensures that MPH has effective equipment for services performed.
•Is available for on-call duties as schedule requires.
