Overview SOSi is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support SOSi’s business development organization in development of organization design, staffing, work/operational schedules, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for small to large facilities operations & maintenance (O&M), base operations support (BOS), construction, and life support operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large O&M, BOS, construction, and life support programs in contingency environments. Essential Job Duties Responsible for independent and/or collaborative development of workforce organizations to perform small to large facilities O&M, BOS, construction, and/or life support operations. Responsible for independent and/or collaborative development of staffing profiles to include labor categories, staffing levels, management hierarchies, labor mix [American National (AN), Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)], and management-to-worker ratios to perform small to large facilities O&M, BOS, construction, and/or life support operations. Responsible for independent and/or collaborative development of schedules for overall program, sites, shops, and individual workers to minimize cost and maximize performance of facilities O&M, BOS, construction, and/or life support operations. Responsible for independent and/or collaborative development of CONOPS for small to large facilities O&M, BOS, construction, and/or life support operations. Ensure organizations and schedules are developed in compliance with requirements of the Customer, governing policies, and host nation(s). Ensure developed organizations and schedules include the personnel necessary to expertly meet all Customer deliverables. Perform reviews of CONOPS, workforce organizations and schedules developed by others. Assist with development and/or review of innovations to address Customer hot buttons, to exceed Customer requirements, and/or to increase Customers’ evaluated scoring of SOSi proposals. Develop material and labor estimates to perform small- to medium-size construction and/or renovation projects. Ensure design of organizations and schedules ensure compliance with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, to include possible support to operational business unit(s). Minimum Requirements Active in scope Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management is preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Ten(10) years support services and/or facilities management experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing such services to large facilities or operations. Valid driver’s license from home of record. Extensive knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership, service delivery methods and coordination of people and resources. Ability to manage required staff. Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting task order responsibilities at an overseas facility. Experience providing excellent customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Expert computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team. Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change. Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information. Preferred Qualifications Previous international experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions. Experience working with a contractor.
