Regional Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) Location: Pensacola, FL US Citizenship: Required Regional DSS duties / requirements: Maintain and support all Facility Management database sustainment modules based on information gathered from the Facility Managers. Specific duties and requirements include: Duties:
Ensure computer aided design drawings are properly stored and accessible within the DMLSS-FM database.
Link the room inventory records with drawings and reconcile discrepancies between room inventory and drawing records.
Maintain a list of work requests and projects that result in changes to facility layouts.
Maintain accurate and complete Facility Inventory within the Facility Inventory module.
Sustain inventories of facilities, rooms and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE).
Create, update and close out work requests for both preventative maintenance and repairs as provided from facility management operations.
Maintain and update records of all active facility projects by tracking financial progress of all design and construction projects to include modifications and change orders.
Provide support to DMLSS Regulatory Compliance/Joint Commission functions by updated government furnished data.
Maintain and support all miscellaneous functions within the DMLSS-FM modules to include preserving accurate contact information on all organizations and personnel who support the medical facility.
Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirements: Secret (Tier 3 level investigation) Clearance or the ability to obtain an interim Tier 3 with subsequent favorable adjudication
Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), GFEBS system or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
5-10 Years of DMLSS-FM system experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
