Position Summary:
The Surface Fueling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of surface fueling activities. This includes managing a team of surface fuelers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and optimizing fueling procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability. The role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of fueling operations, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and performance standards.
Job Responsibilities

• Operational Management:
  
  • Oversee the daily fueling operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and safety in surface fueling activities.
• Team Leadership:
  
  • Supervise and manage a team of surface fuelers, providing training, performance evaluations, and support.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
  • Ensure all fueling operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of fueling equipment, ensuring all tools and vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department for scheduled and unscheduled equipment servicing.
• Customer Service:
  
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with fueling services.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  
  • Prepare and present regular reports on fueling operations, including fuel usage, efficiency metrics, and safety incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of fueling activities, equipment maintenance, and staff training.
• Continuous Improvement:
  
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in surface fueling.

Job Requirements:
Relevant certifications in safety management and fuel handling are advantageous.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in fueling operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
o Proven track record in managing teams and maintaining high safety standards.
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o In-depth knowledge of fueling operations and safety regulations.
o Proficient in using operations management software and tools.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.?
o This position may require working in various weather conditions and handling hazardous materials.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
o Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
o Prolonged periods of standing and walking
o Capability to work in high-stress environments and respond to emergency situations effectively
