Duties:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenging behaviors.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level.
- Understanding of behavior management techniques for working with children with autism or other special needs is a plus.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
