OVERVIEW
South Bronx United Inc. (SBU) is a sports-based youth development organization that uses soccer as a tool for social change aiming to help youth build character, teamwork, and leadership so they can succeed in high school, college, careers, their community and beyond. SBU serves more than 1,600 young people annually through programming on the field and in the classroom, working to unite a diverse group of students, families, and the South Bronx community toward positive goals. SBU is driven to accomplish our mission and promote the SBU Values of Showing Commitment, Bringing Integrity, and Uniting our Community in all that we do.

SCOPE

SBU is seeking energetic individuals with a passion for positive youth development, workforce development, and community to join our team as a Workforce Development Program Associate. This is a part-time position, but has the potential to combine with a coach-mentor role or program site coordinator role to fulfill full-time hours.

The Program Associate would assist in planning, scheduling, and delivering workshops; Coordinating recruitment and onboarding efforts for new program participants; Tracking attendance; Communication with participants on their participation, performance, and goals.

SCHEDULE
Approximately 20 hours per week, typically afternoons and evenings.

COMPENSATION
$20-$25 per hour based on experience
