Job Functions:

• Investigates all criminal activities (missing property, theft, vandalism, employee disputes, sexual harassment.) Coordinates with outside agencies when needed. Reviews incidents involving all state vehicles, submits quarterly report as required to Central Office. Enforces traffic laws and maintains law and order at this facility.
• Works closely with Disaster Preparedness Team to ensure appropriate actions are taken for a return to normal operations in the event of a disaster. Coordinates with outside agency for security and traffic control for all special events held at Pee Dee Center.
• Provides direct supervision to the Campus Support Coordinators and Switchboard Operators. Completes performance appraisals, develops, and maintains work schedules and recommends personnel actions as appropriate.
• Serves as the first line crisis manager on the main campus. Ensures staff coverage is maintained in the residential units at all times. Directs resources of other departments in emergency situations to insure proper operation of the facility and the safety of staff and residents.
• Performs fire and evacuation drills in resident living units on the Florence and Hartsville Campus. Assists with fire prevention to include in-service training and inspections.
• Responsible for directing searches for missing residents. Organizes search team and directs the search operation center for communication should search require moving off campus and is responsible contacting local authorities for assistance. Files complete reports upon termination of search.
• Perform other related duties.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience working directly with people with intellectual/developmental disability and related disabilities.
• Must have at least one (1) year experience as a supervisor/management.
• Must have a SC Driver's License.
