What you will do: You will provide basic taxpayer and customer assistance and registration through the Taxpayer Service Center in a courteous and professional manner with a focus on security of taxpayer data. Primary Job Duties Include
Providing customer service to help resolve tax related questions and issues.
Processing business registrations for retail licenses and withholding, admissions, and coin operated device tax accounts.
Reviewing and processing Power of Attorney submissions and system work items.
Using tax systems to adjust and/or correct taxpayers' accounts.
Making suggestions and/or recommendations to improve existing practices or processes.
EitherMinimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor’s degree OR
An associate’s degree and one year of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment OR
A high school diploma and three years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment
Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning. Preferred Qualifications
Customer service experience
Considerable knowledge of office/business practices, procedures, and equipment

Hours: Work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
