South Carolina Department of Transportation is Hiring a Customer Service Agent (61036228) Near Columbia, SC
Tracks customer requests to ensure all requests and correspondence are responded to within the given time frame. Responds and routes customer email requests for information and services that arrive via the Contact Us webpage. Assists daily with damage claims received by SCDOT. Professionally handles claims in all aspects from beginning to end with timeliness, accuracy, and accumulating all information related to claims. Works with claimant, CSC manager, county, and district personnel in order to bring final resolution. Conducts follow up surveys after request/issues are resolved. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional RequirementsA high school diploma and two (2) years of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operators license is required.
The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
