South Carolina Security & Protection Services is Hiring an Armed Security Officer Near North Augusta, SC

***PLEASE READ FULL DISCRIPTION***

We are looking for part-time employees. Prior law enforcement or armed security experience is required. Shifts are 6hrs per night, Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00pm until 5:00am. Candidates must be Currently Armed Certified as a Security Officer in the State of South Carolina!

Our ideal candidate will keep a sense of humor while keeping a sense of responsibility. Many individuals do not understand the significant duties a security officer has in protecting lives, and the essential role security plays in our communities. We are willing to train anyone who has the desire to learn.

To qualify for the position, you cannot have any felonies and you must pass a preemployment drug test. There are no exceptions. It would be helpful if you are in “average” physical condition or better. You may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Based on the job, we may not be able to make reasonable accommodations.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week

Experience:

  • Corrections: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Law Enforcement (Police/Sheriff’s Department): 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • SLED Armed Security Officer License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • North Augusta, SC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
