We now offer many services including medical, dental, optometry, obstetrics and gynecology, behavioral health, imaging, and many other services.

Location: Boston AND BIDMC

Available Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Pay Scale: Starting $22/hour

Essential Functions and Job Duties:

• Serve as labor coach/doula/interpreter for patients at BIDMC when so requested, being available according to the on-call schedule.
• Provide patient support and education not only during labor and delivery, but also during the prenatal and postpartum course.
• Collaborate with South Cove and BIDMC OBGYN team members, including but not limited to clinicians, nurses, anesthesia, breastfeeding, NICU, and social work team members.
• Support communications between patients and South Cove/BIDMC teams.
• Document work appropriately.
• Support South Cove OBGYN office work as needed.

Qualifications:

• Trilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin AND Cantonese)
• Ability to work with people of all backgrounds
• Possess qualities of empathy, caring and patience

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
