Responsibilities (Overview)

• Maintain the district's special education files and database to ensure compliance with
• state and federal requirements, and serve as the district's Frontline registrar.
• Accurate record-keeping of special education confidential information, using Frontline Database for special education IEP management including the identification of required timelines.
• Maintain a schedule of appointments for all Special Education TEAM meetings.
• Coordinate the completion of Educational Assessments from all teachers of record providing educational instruction to those eligible for special education services.
• Assist in developing and organizing Special Education materials related to mandated reporting and audits.
• Assist with annual transition IEPs and transfer of files form sending schools.
• Assist with material requisitions.
• Maintain documentation for the 688 process and Medicaid billing.

Qualifications:

• Possess a thorough knowledge of and familiarity with modern office technology, electronic equipment, software applications and operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) in Windows and/or Google document environment and willingness to learn new software programs as needed.
• Ability to work effectively with administrators, students, parents and school staff and any visitors
• Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of this position in a complex working environment using sound judgment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,072.00 - $59,700.00 per year
