South Plains Implement is seeking a highly motivated and energetic candidate to fill our position as our Turf Equipment Sales team member in Big Spring.
Turf Equipment Sales Purpose:
Turf Equipment Sales Responsibilities:
o Maintain customer and business confidentiality
o Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers within in area of responsibility
o Achieve the individual sales and financial goals to help achieve business results
o Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment for Deere and Shortlines
o Set up and train the customers on new and used equipment purchases
o Monitors trends in customer’s business and competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
o Maintains all customer information in assigned area of responsibility for good sales management
o Knows and follows a defined sales process, ensure paperwork is turned in, on time and completed correctly
o Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
o Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
o Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
o Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
o May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes
o Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
Turf Equipment Sales Requirements:
o 1 years equipment sales experience
o Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
o Excellent customer relationship skills
o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
o Ability to work flexible hours
o High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Pay is dependent upon experience.
