Job Description: Stewartville Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will be responsible for one section of 6th grade general music along with directing choirs in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Q ualifications/Degree: Appropriate Minnesota Vocal Music License. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Special Job Requirements:

• Direct the 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade choirs in rehearsal and concerts.
• Must have proficient piano skills.
• Administer formal and informal assessments using the appropriate assessment strategies.
• Implement effective instruction using appropriate instructional techniques based on the individual needs of each student and in compliance with each child's IEP or 504 plan.
• Plan evidence-based interventions appropriate for individual students and groups of students
• Provide feedback and reinforcement to students and parents
• Previous success utilizing a Schoology as a Learning Management System

Beginning Salary Range: Per the Stewartville United Educators' Master Agreement
