Description:
Oversee daily practice and weekly competition schedules for the Middle School Wrestling program. Provide bus supervision for all out-of-town competitions, and locker room supervision throughout the season. Build quality relationships with middle school youth and maintain cooperative partnerships with paid and volunteer coaches. Build a strong communication network with Head HS Coach, program staff, parents, and community. Provide inventory management of all supplies, equipment, and uniforms and report competition scores to the OMS Activities Coordinator.

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED - two or four-year degree in an education related field preferred. Wrestling coaching experience including foundational skill development required. Excellent inter/intra-personal skills. Focus on leadership and the community of Owatonna as a whole are highly desired. Strong technology skills beneficial. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Schedule:
* Wrestling season is November 18, 2024 to February 1, 2025
* Wrestling Parent/Athlete Meeting will be scheduled with the HS meeting.
* Practice time 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate:
$1,475 per head coach per season
