Overview:
SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst I/II/III to join our team! The successful candidate will provide Documentation Configuration Management (DOC CM) support to the AEGIS program. This position includes receipting, tracking, electronically/physically housing documentation, controlling dissemination, and tracking baseline applicability for documents. This position is available for immediate hire and is located in Dahlgren, VA .
Responsibilities:
  • Attend and participate in various Baseline (B/L), Working Groups, and Integrated Program Reviews meetings and brief documentation production, scheduling, and delivery status at Program Office and Certification Panel meetings
  • Perform research to validate computer program documentation applicability for ships/sites based on equipment variants as well as hardware upgrades
  • Analyze various B/L charts, schedules, and reports to determine documentation requirements based on a ship/site computer systems hardware/software configuration
  • Utilize the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) documentation database to develop and distribute the Publication List for Aegis and Non-Aegis (PLANs) and Aegis Baseline/Document Applicability Matrix (ABAM)
  • Perform data entry for baseline (B/L) upgrades, computer program version changes, and redeliveries derived from audits
  • Identify process improvements, maintain process performance, document actions, and provide final quality assurance check for all deliverables
  • Establish and maintain electronic and/or hardcopy data library of documents and work order files for documents received for processing
  • Interface with engineers and technical professionals regarding the editing and publication of various types of documents such as user manuals, system manuals, weapon specifications, and survey reports
  • Coordinate Configuration Management (CM) activities, providing classified and unclassified information dissemination
  • Provide support for configuration management planning, identification, change control, audit/verification, and status accounting
  • Prepare correspondence, plans, and reports for assigned program(s) and customer(s)
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years or more of experience with DoD configuration management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly strong in Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to collect data from difference sources and pull information from reports
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate within a team environment and across organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customers
  • Must have a background with or understanding of AEGIS computer programs
  • Excellent written communication skills, working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications, and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
  • Possession of excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Prior experience with Advanced Configuration Control and Engineering Status System (ACCESS) and/or VIEWNet
  • Previous experience working in a classified environment
