We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team at a busy Ophthalmology office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience for all patients as well as verify insurance benefits.
**Responsibilities:**
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries or appointments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Address patient concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient satisfaction
- Verify medical and vision plan insurances
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred
- Knowledge of medical office and phone systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday (7:30am-5:00 pm). FRIDAYS OFF!!!
