Clinical Decision Unit | Cape Girardeau, MO | Full Time

• Preparing and assessment of patient
• Administration and pharmacology of cardiovascular drugs
• Documents all medications administered
• Observes effects of medications and acts accordingly
• Perform IV insertion/care proficiently
• Knowledgeable of the practices of good principles of radiation safety
• Notifies Director of Charge Nurse of any problems with equipment or supplies
• Maintains order and cleanliness in the procedure rooms after use and ensures restocking of supplies
• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Operates equipment
• Evaluates study order to assure the technical quality of the study
• Maintains accurate records of services and patient charges
• Transfers and positions patients
• Monitors and records physiological data (i.e., EKG, B/P, Symptoms, etc.)
• Notifies physician or RN of EKG and Pressure abnormalities
• Completes admission/history information
• Interacting with patients, families and visitors and maintains confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program required
• LPNIV - Lpn Iv Cert In the State of Missouri required
