Your Role
As the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, you are responsible for driving expense management and operational excellence to maximize efficiency, productivity and profitability for each store within your region. As the strategic partner, you are responsible for leading the operational strategy with stores to maximize the P&L to drive the profitability within the region by identifying the strategy and tactics for expense management opportunities. You will lead the implementation of operational processes that drive improved productivity, efficiencies, and optimized performance, to deliver the customer experience in stores. In this role, you report to the Director, Operational Excellence and work remotely with the need for occasional travel.
What You’ll Do
Drive for compliance of all SOP / directives for Operations, Loss Prevention, Finance, Accounting and any other function.
Lead expense management to drive profitability at the store and region level, including payroll and non-payroll expense
Work closely with store leaders to build business acumen skills, deepen understanding of P&L and identify actions and tactics to maximize profitability
Build year-round shortage reduction plans, implementing individual store actions and tactics with Loss Prevention partners and store leaders
Responsible for driving operational productivity through process efficiencies and continuous improvement
Work with stores to optimize staffing strategy with effective schedule writing and support labor management routinesand disciplines
Collaborate with store leaders and cross functional corporate partners to identify and solve for operational excellence opportunities (expense management, process improvements, execution gaps, inefficiencies, etc.); solicit and share feedback to identify best practices
Establish, monitor, and analyze key operational metrics to drive performance, focus, and improvement
Lead the implementation of policies, procedures and disciplines that maximize company profitability through expense management, stores labor efficiency and execution excellence
Lead indirect reports to deliver efficient and seamless execution of retail operations and process optimization efforts
Promote a customer centric culture of results-oriented performance in stores and through corporate cross functional relationships
What You Bring
5 years of store operations experience
5 years of stores / field leadership experience
4-Year Degree Preferred
Strong ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships, and build consensus and support for improvement opportunities
Adept at identifying operational improvement opportunities and working with others to generate and implement solutions
Ability to influence without authority and drive change
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
