The Southern Environmental Law Center has a new position for a Receptionist / Office Assistant in our Richmond, VA office. This individual will join our Virginia Administrative team and report to both our Senior Policy & Outreach Manager in Richmond and our Virginia Office Manager in Charlottesville. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful, nationally recognized organization that is effectively addressing some of the most pressing and challenging environmental issues throughout the South and the nation.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position based in-person in our Richmond, VA office. The work schedule is flexible between Monday through Thursday each week with estimated hours to be approximately 25, not to exceed 30 hours per week.

Compensation & Benefits:
SELC offers compensation competitive with other leading environmental nonprofits nationally and a range of benefits. The starting hourly range for this position is $20.00 – $24.00/hour, commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for prorated paid sick, vacation, and holiday leave as well as 403(b) employer contribution after working 1,000 hours and completing one full year of employment. This position is not eligible for group insurance coverage.
