Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Catheterization Lab. As a Registered Nurse in this specialized unit, you will play a crucial role in providing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures.

Duties:

- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications as directed by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
- Active Registered Nurse license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such Meditech Expanse
- Circulating, monitoring and scrubbing is a plus
- Weekly overnight call hours are required

Pay: $53.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
