**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a surgical environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout all procedures.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures

- Administer medications and assist with various medical procedures such as catheter care, IV infusion, and phlebotomy

- Maintain infection control protocols to minimize risks of healthcare-associated infections

- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with ventilating and dialysis procedures as needed

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care

**Requirements:**

- Valid Louisiana RN license

- ACLS

- BLS

- Prior experience in an Operating Room setting preferred

- Proficiency in various medical procedures including gastric lavage, IV infusion, and ventilator management

- Strong understanding of infection control practices and protocols

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Experience in home care, emergency room, or critical care settings is a plus
