Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $52,000-$56,900 plus bonus. In determining the final offer the company will evaluate a specific candidates' education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately. 

Overview
 The EHS & Loss Prevention Specialist will function as a point of contact related to the day-to-day tracking of the EHS department related metrics, corrective actions locally. This role supports SGWS moving toward our goal of world class EHS performance and implementing safety and loss control programs. As a resource for the organization, s/he will be responsible to ensure supervisors required reporting and determined with cause of injury & damages also to prevent future incidents. 
Will consider recent graduate in related field- Hours: flexible Mid/2nd Shift- No weekends

Primary Responsibilities
  • Review, update and deploy, Business Continuity and sustainability related activities
  • Maintain and/or support completion of OSHA 300, 300A logs and Bureau of Labor Statistics Surveys for the entire company
  • New hire training, safety orientation, & other related safety training.
  • Review and evaluate existing SGWS EHS educational programs for periodic updates and facilitate hands-on training of EHS Data Management systems to new users
  • Conduct troubleshooting, work with vendors, create, change and delete user accounts upon request and walk users through problem-solving process
  • Successfully manage and lead infrastructure projects on schedule and budget
  • Responsible to upkeep the SGWS EHS/DOT Share Point files
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Distribution, SCM, Safety, or EHS degree (preferred)
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Ability to lead a project team in the successful completion of projected related activities per an approved plan
  • Willing to train recent college graduate in related field.

Physical Demands
  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
