Responsibilities
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, easy to follow, electronic procedures for each responsibility.
- Responds to inquiries from employees and vendors regarding cash, payroll, accounts payable and related matters.
- Processes properly approved and documented invoices and payment requests.
- Reconciles vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Processes payments to vendors, while enhancing SIH cash flow.
- Monitors cash related transactions, maintain cash spreadsheets, provide missing documentation, research misallocations, and allocate miscellaneous cash.
- Provides cash procedures and training to SIMS facilities.
- Processes bank deposit and maintain related backup.
- Prepares and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to develop and communicate pay practices and improve processes.
- Ensures time records are processed for payment in accordance with pay policies/practices.
- Monitors payroll systems and assist Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, resolution of issues, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field required
- Two years of accounting experience required
Salary : $45,939 - $68,910
