The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a strong understanding of DCS, SCADA, PLC’s, Automation software, and multiple programming languages. System Installation and Configuration
Develop and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, and other automation controllers
Test and validate automation software and systems
Identify and resolve technical issues with automated systems
Tuning of process controllers to enhance system efficiency and reliability
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications
Document programming changes and system configurations
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
Ensure automated systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Verify the correct installation of components and ensure all connections and interfaces are properly established
Perform functional tests on systems and equipment to verify proper operation
Test control systems, safety devices, and interlocks to ensure they function as intended
Calibrate instruments, sensors, and control devices to ensure accurate readings and performance
Execute system start-up procedures and bring equipment and systems into operational status
Monitor system performance during start-up to identify and resolve any issues
Work with engineering and maintenance teams to implement solutions and resolve problems
Ability to troubleshoot, install, calibrate, and/or configure control system components and other electrical equipment. (Ex: End devices, logic solvers, etc.)
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred
3 year’s experience in Automation and Controls required
Ability to perform basic Electrical calculations
Knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, or Schnider PLC’s
Knowledge of Emerson, Wika, ABB, or Honeywell end devices
Knowledge of HART and Fieldbus communications
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to travel /-50%
Fluent in English language
US citizenship required
Posses or have the ability to get TWIC
Able to complete full physical and training classes
