Clinical Nursing (Adjunct) Faculty Positions Brunswick and South Portland CampusesPOSTING DATE: February 15, 2024 RESPONSIBILITIES: SMCC is seeking adjunct clinical nursing faculty (approximately 9-12 clinical hours/week per semester) for the Brunswick and South Portland campuses. Responsibilities include the supervision/instruction of associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Adjunct faculty are responsible for assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements. Clinical faculty plan pre- and post-conferences and provide regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review. Final clinical evaluations are the responsibility of the clinical faculty. Minimum Qualifications
BSN (Master’s degree in Nursing preferred)
Current Maine RN licensure
Recent Acute Care and/or Skilled Nursing Care Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a lab setting
Experience in Skilled Nursing Care settings
