Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Activities Director to join our team at a nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities
- Coordinate group activities such as games, crafts, outings, and social events
- Provide individualized attention to residents with dementia care needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Collaborate with social work and caregiving teams to support residents' needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Manage schedules and ensure timely execution of planned activities
- Oversee memory care programs for residents with cognitive impairments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or senior care setting preferred
- Strong understanding of aging issues counseling and memory care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage schedules efficiently
- Knowledge of social work principles in a healthcare environment
