JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for driving the development and successful delivery of innovative enterprise technology solutions in the Time & Labor and Payroll space. As Product Delivery Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and ensure the timely execution and delivery of goals defined during PI Planning and beyond. Additionally, you will be the primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy, while maximizing the value delivered by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. The role will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and issues to meeting Sprint and PI goals, and for managing the team's workload and direction to ensure that critical milestones are met, in close collaboration with the Scrum Master. The PDM will have strong technical and functional subject matter expertise in the Pay lifecycle process area, and interfacing process areas such as Rewards, to not only lead the team, and direct reports, to successful delivery but be hands-on relative to not only strategy but also execution.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team in providing superior solution support including configuration, development, controls execution, access management setup, and more, for Oracle HCM Cloud and related HR technologies.

  • Collaborate with Business Owners and Process Managers to understand their complex requirements and map them to PI and Sprint goals to then ensure successful delivery of committed features, while handling unplanned strategic and operational demands

  • Optimize system and process performance by identifying/implementing enhancements and best practices

  • Aid in defining the product roadmap, outline plans for adoption of new quarterly features and work with multiple pillars and partners to leverage unexplored functionality in HCM and other technologies

  • Collaborate with Oracle, and other vendors and internal teams, to outline product gaps through Enhancement Requests to reduce technical debt and customizations, and lead efforts to rationalize custom solutions, such as third-party Timekeeping solutions created to address gaps in HCM

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in enterprise software development. Help evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies to optimize development processes and deliver innovative solutions.

  • Mastery of the SDLC process to deliver quality software products, with strong understanding of the Agile framework (preferably SAFE)

  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Aid in managing vendor relationships and influence future product direction through user group participation and forums like Cloud Customer Connect

  • Manage and mentor a team of software engineers and analysts, providing guidance, support, and technical/functional expertise. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and continuous improvement, while helping attract, develop, retain, and manage a diverse workforce

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 7 years’ experience as a Functional and Technical HR resource, with a focus in Oracle HR Technology, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud but including other tools such as Peoplesoft or EBS HCM.

  • Demonstrated experience leading others within the space.

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in the HCM Cloud Technical stack.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud Architecture & Data lineage.

  • Strong understanding of Technical and Functional HCM Configuration.

  • Good understanding of HCM and ERP Financials interdependency.

  • Experience with system integrations and working knowledge of integration/middleware tools and technologies in the space, such as OIC, highly encouraged.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills proven by experience in troubleshooting complex system issues and performing root cause analysis.

  • Strong communication and written skills to effectively interact with end-users and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Manage multiple key initiatives while meeting timeline on deliverables.

  • Relevant certifications such as the Oracle HCM Business Process Foundations Associate, Oracle Time and Labor Certified Implementation Professional, Oracle Payroll Cloud Certified Implementation professional, Agile certifications, preferred and encouraged.
