Southview Acres Health Care Center is recruiting an RN for the role of Building Charge Nurse.

The responsibilities of theRN Building Charge Nurse include but are not limited to:
- Leading and supervising nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs
- Delegating direct resident care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Coordinating and facilitating the delivery of resident care from healthcare professionals
- Conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Contributing to the professional development of the nursing staff by providing ongoing education, training, and mentoring.
- Communicating and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the facility
- A valid and active RN license from the state of Minnesota
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Management and/or supervisory experience
- Must have a solid clinical knowledge foundation and nursing practice skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, their families, other healthcare professionals, and the nursing team
- Must have proper organizational and critical thinking skills
- Must be familiar with healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols is important for a charge nurse.
- Must be able to uphold high ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
