Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. is Hiring a Remote INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

General Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team at Southwest Galvanizing, Inc. as an Inside Sales Representative. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and promoting our galvanizing services primarily by phone or email. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and possesses a deep understanding of the galvanizing process.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assists customers with inquiries on the galvanizing process, pricing, and lead-times
  • Provide quotes for galvanizing service based on material type, size, weight, and the complexity of the material
  • Collaborate closely with our production and shipping departments to make sure the customers’ needs are met and to coordinate optional transportation services
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups
  • Understand customer needs and requirements on all orders
  • Check customer invoices for accuracy of material types and pricing
  • Light data entry
  • Any other duties as required by management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2-3 Years of related sales/customer service experience
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills for customer interactions
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to identify different types of steel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Associate degree or higher is preferred but not required

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, Salary Position
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • In-person

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to walk to main office and through shipping yard in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to walk up/down staircase multiple times a day
