Job DescriptionOverview of the Company:
For over 20 years, Southwest Greens of Florida has built a reputation based on quality in the synthetic turf industry. Our business is driven by relationships built with high-end landscape architects, custom home builders, GC’s, landscape contractors and designers. We are the largest Southwest Greens dealer in the world by regularly installing over 600,000 square feet of turf per year.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role through networking, you will generate opportunities and attract new clients. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to conducting consultative sales process, execute company provided leads, manage a strong sales pipeline, oversee project management, and successfully communicate with clients in a timely manner.
Who we want –
  • Prior sales experience – motivated to grow own book of business through networking and relationship building.
  • Someone that pays attention to detail and can evaluate a jobsite to see potential problems challenges
  • Good communicator written and verbal, able to communicate with all walks of life
  • Willing and able to give a PowerPoint presentation to a group of people, Landscape Architects, Contractors, and Custom Home Builders
  • Construction experience – comfortable working outdoors in construction/jobsite environment
  • Quick learner to working with new software (Turbo PDF, LMN) and reading construction doc/plans
  • Timely responds to customer phone calls, emails, text messages
  • Someone that is honest and accountable
What you will do:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to increase sales and revenue
  • Conduct in-person consultations with potential clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Schedule and conduct Lunch and Learn Presentations
  • Ability to sell high-end product while exceeding customers’ expectations
  • Evaluate and take measurements at a jobsite
  • Learn and use takeoff software to read blueprint drawings, conduct square footage takeoffs so new projects can be quoted in company LMN operating/CRM system.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations using existing templates and past presentations. Create proposals to potential clients that effectively communicate the value of our products and services
  • Collaborate with internal work teams to ensure timely scheduling of jobs to accurately deliver products and services to clients
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction, landscaping, or home improvement industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
