Description

As a Maintenance Technician, your skills will be at the forefront of our plant's success. Your work will directly influence the production and efficiency of our state-of-the-art ethanol facility, ensuring we meet our sustainability goals.

Responsibilities include Ensuring maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, motors, conveyor systems, various tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm with rotating on-call responsibility

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in completing paperwork required through our CMMS program. 
• Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal - Motivated
• Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity
• Adhere to all company policies; align with company goals; positive team member

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Demonstrated competencies 
• Work experience & equivalent to 2 years experience in core essential responsibilities and duties.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to work in outside conditions and adverse weather.
• Walking / Standing
• Sweeping

Working Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is regularly exposed to dusty conditions.
• The employee is regularly exposed to high noise environments.
• The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather in all conditions.
• The employee will regularly be exposed to chemicals used in the process.
