Southwest Key Programs is Hiring an One Stop Operator Near Santa Fe, NM

Job Summary:

The One Stop Operator coordinates the service delivery of participating one-stop partners and service delivery providers. Ensures the delivery of high-quality career services in the 10-county Northern Area Local Workforce Development Board (NALWDB) region to meet the following priorities: (1) commitment to excellent customer service, (2) innovation and effective service design, and (3) the ability to operate with integrated management systems and high quality staffing.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and coordinate relationships between all mandated one-stop partners as well as other partners that support the mission, vision, and values of the NALWDB.
  • Develop and assist in execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) or other required documents that comply with partner funding requirements, delivery models and metrics to track objectives. Serve as a facilitator between required one-stop partners and NALWDB to operationalize program coordination activities outlined in MOU.
  • Support discussions between NALWDB and partners regarding infrastructure agreements and leveraging resources.
  • Design programs and policies to meet the needs of employers and job seekers, support career pathway development, and address regional workforce challenges.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with postsecondary career and technical programs to facilitate skill development and career progression.
  • Ensure that partner staff is trained in all services offered by the NALWDB one-stop system.
  • Evaluate one-stop services and activities for ongoing continuing quality improvement of deliverable services.
  • Participate in community or stakeholder strategic meetings related to partners’ service delivery needs and design.
  • Manage, track and oversee a customer satisfaction program to allow for continued improvement including innovative methods and best practices for service delivery.
  • Oversight of one-stop operations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Report quarterly to the NALWDB on one-stop system activities and accomplishments.

Other Functions:

  • Travel to attend meetings training, conferences, and other activities.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ experience managing social service/workforce . Associate degree with 5-7 years’ experience will be considered.
  • Possess administrative and program leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written communication skills, and demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and policies.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with NMWCOS software system.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas.
  • While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment.
  • Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and local travel, including exposure to heat, cold, inclement weather conditions, and occasional environmental hazards.
