Southwest Research Institute is Hiring a STUDENT ENGINEER - Spacecraft Development Near San Antonio, TX
Education/Experienceal year-round Student position. Work in multidisciplinary project teams to support the design, analysis, and build of cutting edge spacecraft. Work in integrated project teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware development. Collaborate with engineering team on customer requests to compile and present date to justify design decisions. Support R&D and promotional efforts to develop and implement new technologies. Support project managers with the development and maintenance of detailed, intermediate, and top-level integrated schedules in accordance with current best practice industry standards (e.g., GAO; DoD; NASA).
Special ConsiderationsApplicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
