• Transports patients from one section of Radiology to another and from other areas of the Medical Center.
• Assists with cleaning of patient, if necessary.
• Observe patients awaiting radiographic procedures as well as patients waiting to return to their rooms.
• Report any suspected problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Assists with the transfer of patients from stretcher or wheelchair to and from the x-ray table or treatment table. 
• Maintains designated work area and equipment in a safe condition.
• Complies with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Cleans transport equipment as needed.
• Monitors oxygen tanks for pressure and exchanges tanks when necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent required. If no HS Diploma, you have one year to obtain your GED.

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Heart Saver CPR American Heart Association (AHA) required

• Prior patient care experience preferred.
